Roulston retains 37.2 million shares
Galantas received notice of the sale on October 30. Roulston's remaining holding totals 37,200,045 shares, according to the company, which trades under GAL on both the TSX Venture Exchange and AIM and under GALKF on OTCQX.
The filing records a single market transaction and is designated an initial notification. It was submitted under the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014, incorporated into UK law through the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.
Chilean projects and the Omagh sale
Galantas is a gold and copper company advancing two projects in Chile: Andacollo and Indiana. It also sold its remaining 20% indirect stake in the Omagh gold project in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, through subsidiary Cavanacaw Corporation.
Ocean Partners UK Limited bought the Omagh interest for US$5.0 million under a share purchase agreement dated September 8, 2026. Approximately US$3.26 million of the consideration went toward settling Galantas' debt to Ocean Partners; the rest was paid in cash. Because Ocean Partners holds more than 10% of Galantas' voting rights, the sale was classified as a related party transaction.
Andacollo ownership, resources and permits
In June 2026, Galantas completed its acquisition of full ownership of Andacollo in central Chile's Coquimbo Region. The former open-pit, heap-leach operation produced 1.12 million ounces of gold from 1995 through 2017. It lies about 55 km southeast of La Serena, directly beside Teck Resources' Carmen de Andacollo copper mine.
The company's updated mineral resource estimate reports 102.4 million tonnes of Indicated resources grading 0.45 g/t gold, with 1.47 million ounces of contained gold. Inferred resources total 347.9 million tonnes at 0.41 g/t gold, containing 4.54 million ounces. DRA Americas Inc. prepared the NI 43-101 technical report, dated May 4, 2026, with an effective date of February 1, 2026.
Chile's National Geology and Mining Service, SERNAGEOMIN, granted approvals in August 2026 for operations to restart under Andacollo's previously authorized configuration. The authorization runs for four years beginning when mineral extraction starts.
The approvals cover about 11.3 million tonnes remaining in the Tres Perlas open pit and allow crushing at up to 15,000 tonnes per day. Mine-closure financial assurance of US$3.5 million supports the approvals.
Indiana drilling to feed into revised resource estimate
In an October 14, 2026, update, Galantas reported positive drilling results from Indiana, its gold-copper project near Copiapó, Chile. Each of the six holes covered by the update intersected gold-copper mineralization. Most intersections were in newly identified structures outside the current mineral resource estimate, including a 1.48 m interval grading 11.84 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq).
At that point, Galantas had drilled 16 holes totaling 5,960 m toward a planned 12,500 m program. The company said it would postpone Indiana's Preliminary Economic Assessment so the drilling results could be incorporated into an updated resource estimate.
